Standards
How HELM products are made.
We hold ourselves to a clear standard across formulation, sourcing, manufacturing, and product quality. Our approach is built around documentation, traceability, and continuous improvement.
Elev. 01
Formulation
HELM products are developed around deliberately selected cosmetic ingredients. Each formula is designed for a defined purpose, with consideration given to ingredient function, compatibility, stability, safety, and consumer experience.
We believe good formulation is intentional. Every ingredient should have a reason to be there.
Elev. 02
Ingredient Sourcing
HELM works with suppliers selected around defined documentation and quality requirements. Depending on the material, this may include ingredient specifications, certificates of analysis, safety data sheets, traceability records, and other supporting documentation.
We do not rely on undisclosed proprietary blends in place of transparent cosmetic ingredient declarations.
Elev. 03
Manufacturing
HELM products are produced under documented manufacturing and batch-control procedures designed to support consistency, sanitation, traceability, and product quality.
Materials, formulas, production records, and finished products are managed through defined specifications and lot identification appropriate to the product and manufacturing process.
Elev. 04
Testing & Product Quality
HELM establishes testing and quality requirements according to each product's formulation, format, packaging, and intended cosmetic use.
Applicable quality programs may include microbiological evaluation, preservative efficacy testing, stability assessment, packaging compatibility, physical specifications, and finished-product evaluation.
Products are evaluated against defined requirements before release where applicable to the product and HELM quality program.
Elev. 05
Ingredient Philosophy
Every ingredient has to earn its place.
HELM evaluates ingredients based on their function, safety, compatibility, stability, regulatory suitability, and contribution to the finished product.
Rather than defining quality through broad ingredient fear or marketing trends, we focus on building purposeful formulas and communicating clearly about what is inside them.
Product-specific attributes such as fragrance-free, sulfate-free, silicone-free, or other formulation characteristics are identified on individual product pages when applicable.
